THE PROTECTION KITS FOR AN OAK WORKTOP

Oak worktops require specific treatment and maintenance. Oak is a special wood, it contains tannins that can rise and create stains on your wooden worktop, this is called tannin rising. In order to make your work easier, our kits contain a tannin-blocking primer and a wood varnish. The application of this hard oak primer will prevent tannins from rising on your wooden worktop when you apply your wood varnish. Our varnishes are film-forming, they create a film on the surface of the wood which protects your oak worktop from water, knocks or stains. You can preserve the colour of your wooden worktop by choosing a colourless wood varnish or opt for a decorative touch by preferring a coloured wood varnish.

THE PROTECTION KIT FOR CLASSIC WOODEN WORKTOPS

To protect any other wooden worktop, we recommend applying a wood varnish to waterproof your wooden worktop. As a worktop is regularly subjected to water, we recommend that you apply a pore filler primer to make your wood more resistant to moisture.
