Easy to apply on exterior surfaces such as terraces, decks and cladding, Special Bamboo Resin RSB600 has been formulated to impregnate and adhere to thermopressed bamboo. It effectively protects this support against climatic aggressions (UV, bad weather). Semi-film-forming but not flaking, the Special Bamboo Resin helps to combat defibration and splintering on terraces and other wooden supports. The Special Bamboo Resin RSB600 is ideal for terraces, boards, pool surrounds and thermopressed bamboo cladding. It is specially dedicated to the protection of outdoor bamboo.

Formulated in aqueous phase, this outdoor bamboo treatment is neutral for the environment and the applicator.

HOW TO USE THE SPECIAL BAMBOO RESIN

PREPARE THE BAMBOO TERRACE OR OUTDOOR SUPPORT

• To protect outdoor bamboo, the bamboo surface must be clean, dry, dust-free and free of traces of old finishes.
• On old finishes, strip, clean, or sand down to the raw wood. Dust carefully.

APPLICATION OF THE SPECIAL BAMBOO RESIN

• Ready to use product. No dilution is necessary. Shake well before applying the resin to ensure good dispersion of the pigments.
• Apply the special bamboo resin with a spalter or roller in the direction of the bamboo grain. Pull out the excess well without adding any product. Apply 1 to 2 regular and thin coats for a first maintenance.
• Wait a minimum of 2 hours between each layer of special bamboo resin, without exceeding 24 hours.

DRYING

• Leave to dry for 24 to 36 hours before re-circulating.
• Take a few precautions during the first few days.

PRECAUTIONS AFTER APPLYING BAMBOO RESIN

It is important to take a few precautions during the first few days :

• Do not cover the terrace or support
• Do not move heavy garden furniture

• Simply apply a new coat of Special Bamboo Resin RSB600 to the previously cleaned surface.
• Slight ginning can be carried out if necessary.
