How to Apply Medium Oak Varnish VCM500

Preparing the wood

• Wood must be dry, clean, and bare
• Sand down to bare wood if previously varnished, oiled, or waxed
• Dust off thoroughly
• For tannin-rich woods (oak, chestnut): apply Anti-Tannin Primer PAT400
• For other woods: apply Bouche-Pores Primer BP400

Application

• Shake well before use
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain
• Use brush, spalter, or roller
• Apply 3 even, generous coats

Drying

• Allow 2h between coats, max 24h
• Light sanding recommended after the 1st coat (grit 120–240)
• Dust off before each coat

Precautions After Application

• Avoid placing heavy objects during the first days
• Do not cover the varnished surface
• Use only gentle cleaning products
