Description

Pests gnaw at the wood, causing a loss of mass and stability. Wood Bliss® fills the feeding corridors, strengthens cracked wood and thus replaces the lost wood mass. Among other things, the application of this product makes it possible to avoid expensive renovation techniques and the removal of infested wood.

The effect is immediate if the wood is attacked by harmful insects and mould. This product is an insecticide and fungicide treatment for wood.

Up to the depth of penetration, the product removes nutrients from the wood that are sought after by harmful insects. At the same time, it renders the wood unidentifiable to them so that after treatment, insects can no longer recognise the wood as a source of food. Thanks to its crystallisation effect, Wood Bliss® "high-C" provides the wood with protection against harmful pests.

Wood Bliss® "high-C" is a flame retardant wood treatment according to EN 13501: 1: B-S1-d0

ATTACK OF THE WOOD BY CAPRICORNS

  • Locate the infested parts (using a stethoscope if necessary)

  • Drill holes 2 to 3 mm in diameter, spaced about 3 cm apart up to the middle of the wood. Then inject Wood Bliss® "high-C" using a commercial type syringe and a long cannula. It is essential that the product reaches the infested areas. The holes drilled in the underside of the substrates to be treated must be sealed with wax or equivalent prior to treatment. If necessary, the wax can then be removed for the application of a decorative coating. If the attack is very extensive, it is advisable to remove the 3 old coats of protective coating and then apply Wood Bliss® in order to avoid possible outbreaks.
