Bamboo Furniture Varnish VMB500 is a protection and care product for bamboo furniture and worktops. Its formulation specific to bamboo respects and enhances the nature of this natural material.
Colourless and available in matt or glossy versions, this bamboo varnish will protect bamboo furniture and worktops from everyday wear and tear.

The Bamboo Furniture Varnish VMB500 is the ideal protection for interior furniture, worktops, kitchen and bathroom furniture, kitchen tops, ... made of bamboo. It has been designed to reinforce the protection of bamboo against stains, shocks, scratches and water. Once protected with this varnish, the maintenance of bamboo furniture and worktops is quick and easy. A simple sponge stroke is enough to remove grease, wine or coffee stains.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE VARNISH
PREPARE THE BAMBOO FURNITURE OR WORKTOP
- To varnish a piece of bamboo furniture, the bamboo furniture must be clean, dry, dust-free and free of traces of old finishes.
- If necessary, strip or sand down to the raw bamboo. Dust carefully.
VARNISH APPLICATION
- Ready to use product, shake well before applying the varnish to the bamboo furniture or worktop.
- Best application conditions for bamboo varnish: Temperature between 18°C (64,4F) and 25°C (77F) in dry weather (air humidity between 40% and 60%).
- Apply the varnish in the direction of the bamboo grain using a brush, spalter or roller in 2 regular and full coats.
DRYING
- Leave to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between each coat of bamboo varnish, without exceeding 24 hours.
- A light gritting (sanding) with fine sand paper (120 grit) is recommended after the first coat of varnish.
- Dust carefully before applying the next coat.
- Complete hardening is achieved after a few days, take care during the first few days.
PRECAUTIONS AFTER VARNISH APPLICATION
Complete hardening is reached after a few days, it is important to take a few precautions during the first few days:
- Do not cover freshly varnished furniture or worktops.
- Dust with a cloth, do not use impregnated textiles.
TIPS
- To assess the final result, first test the varnish on a drop or an inconspicuous area.

BAMBOO MAINTENANCE
- For the maintenance of bamboo furniture, dry with a woollen cloth.
- For wet cleaning of stains: cloth (water + Liquid Black Soap SN800)
RENOVATE THE BAMBOO FURNITURE
- After a light sanding of the furniture surface, apply Bamboo Furniture Varnish VMB500 in one coat on the most stressed surfaces.

Utiliser pour protéger un plan de travail dans une salle de bain. Fait bien le job, bien respecter le mode d'emploi et bien laisser sécher. En plus c'est plus sympa de faire travailler une petite boite française plutôt qu'un géant étranger de la chimie !
Difficile de trouver un produit pour traiter un plan de travail en bambou, peu perméable aux huiles. C'est un autre site qui m'a renvoyée sur Anova bois. J'ai appliqué le produit il y a 7 mois, ça n'a pas bougé, super protection. J'ai passé trois couches, ce que j'ai pu faire parce que le rendement était bien meilleur qu'annoncé.
J'ai découvert ce site lorsque j'ai acheté une planche en bambou pour me fabriquer un bureau et constaté que, sans traitement, la moindre trace de main "marquait". Il est curieusement difficile de trouver des vernis spécifiques et j'ai commandé sans grande confiance du fait de l'absence d'information sur la nature du produit. Réception rapide, instructions claires de mise en oeuvre, produit très facile à appliquer et, surtout, un résultat vraiment professionnel très inattendu pour un travail fait chez soi sans matériel spécifique. J'utilise ce bureau plusieurs heures chaque jour et le vernis semble très résistant. Je ne saurais trop conseiller le produit et le fournisseur. Ma seule critique, toute relative, serait de proposer des volumes moindres car j'ai de quoi vernir une vingtaine d'autres meubles avec 1 litre.
