The VAC500 Mahogany Wood Varnish is the ideal solution to add depth, warmth and protection to your interior wood. INSTRUCTIONS TO USE THE VAC500 MAHOGANY VARNISH

PREPARING THE SURFACE

• Wood must be clean, dry and bare.
• Sand back to raw wood if previously varnished, oiled or waxed.
• Carefully remove all dust.
• On tannin-rich woods (oak, chestnut): apply Anti-Tanins Primer PAT400
• On other woods: apply Pore Filler Primer BP400

 APPLICATION OF COLOURED WOOD VARNISH

• Shake well before use.
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain.
• Use a brush, roller or wide brush.
• Apply 3 even, regular coats.

DRYING

• Minimum 2 hours between coats.
• Light sanding recommended between coats (grit 120–240).
• Do not exceed 24h between coats.
• Dust off carefully before each new coat.

 AFTERCARE PRECAUTIONS

During the first few days:

• Avoid placing heavy loads on the treated surface.
• Do not cover with fabrics.
• Use only mild cleaning products.

• Each coat deepens the mahogany shade for a more intense effect.

MAINTAINING AND RENOVATING MAHOGANY-TINTED WOOD

ROUTINE CARE

• Dust gently with a microfibre cloth or mop.
• For occasional cleaning: use a damp cloth with Liquid Black Soap SN800.

RENOVATE INTERIOR WOOD

• Lightly sand the surface.
• Apply a fresh coat of VAC500 Mahogany Varnish.
• Ensures a uniform shade, even on partial touch-ups.
