Parquet Wax CPA800 – Clear Wood Wax

Parquet Wax CPA800 is a blend of wood waxes designed to protect and maintain wooden parquet floors and furniture. Formulated with over 90% plant-based raw materials, this product has been carefully developed to deliver the best nourishing and waterproofing properties that waxes can offer. A true wood care and maintenance product, it is suitable both for waxing wooden furniture and for waxing parquet floors. This clear wood wax protects wood while preserving its natural appearance. It can be applied to bare wood or to previously waxed or aged wood for maintenance. The application of this wax, rich in natural waxes, provides a silky satin finish and a soft touch.

If you wish to add color, the wood can first be stained using the Parquet & Furniture Stain TPM900.

Parquet Wax CPA800 can also be used on marble, terracotta, or natural stone.

Application Instructions – Parquet Wax

Preparing the wood

• The wood must be clean, dry, and dust-free. If necessary, lightly sand the surface using fine-grit sandpaper to obtain a perfectly smooth finish. The wood can be pre-stained using the Parquet & Furniture Stain TPM900.

Application of Parquet Wax CPA800

• Ready-to-use product. Shake this interior wood wax well before application. Do not apply at ambient temperatures below +12°C or above +35°C.

• Apply a thin coat in the direction of the wood grain using a brush or cloth.

• Allow to dry for at least 1 hour.

• If the wood absorbs the wax easily, apply a second coat after 1 hour of drying. If a smooth finish is desired, lightly sand (fine-grit sandpaper) after the first coat to remove minor surface imperfections. Carefully remove dust before applying the next coat.

Maintaining a Waxed Wooden Parquet Floor

• The maintenance of a waxed wooden parquet floor can be done using a damp sponge and Black Soap SN800. A new coat of wood wax can be applied as soon as the surface loses its water-repellent (waterproofing) properties.

• To assess the final result, always carry out a test beforehand on an offcut or an inconspicuous area.
