Bamboo Parquet Glazer VPB500 is perfectly suited to protect and seal your solid and non-built bamboo floors and parquet. The bamboo glazer has been designed to resist heavy traffic, household products, water and stains while enhancing the nature of bamboo. Formulated in an aqueous phase, this product protects bamboo floors while respecting the environment and the applicator.

PREPARE THE BAMBOO FLOORING

• The bamboo must be clean, dry, dust-free and without traces of old finishes.
• If necessary, strip or sand down to the raw bamboo. Dust carefully.

GLAZER APPLICATION

• Ready-to-use product, shake well before applying the sealer to the bamboo floor.
• Best application conditions for the bamboo floor sealer: Temperature between 18°C (64,4F) and 25°C (77F) in dry weather (air humidity between 40% and 60%)..
• Apply the glazer in the direction of the bamboo grain using a brush, spalter or roller in 2 to 3 regular and filled coats (3 for parquet).

DRYING

• Leave to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats of sealer, without exceeding 24 hours.
• A light gritting (sanding) with fine abrasive paper (120 grit) is recommended after the first coat of sealer.
• Dust carefully before applying the next coat.
• Complete hardening is achieved after a few days, take care during the first few days.

 PRECAUTIONS AFTER APPLYING THE BAMBOO GLAZER

Complete hardening is reached after a few days, it is important to take a few precautions during the first few days:

• Do not cover the floor
• Do not lay carpets on freshly varnished parquet.
• Do not move heavy furniture
• Dust with a hoover or broom, do not use impregnated textiles.

 TIPS

• To assess the final result, first test the glazier on a drop or an inconspicuous area.

MAINTENANCE OF PARQUET FLOORING

• The bamboo floor can be dry-cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, mop or woollen cloth.
• For wet cleaning of stains: cloth, mop or wrung out sponge mop (water+ Savon Noir SN800)

RENOVATE THE PARQUET FLOOR

• To undertake the renovation of a bamboo floor, after lightly sanding the surface of the floor, apply Parquet Bamboo Glazer VPB500 in one coat on the highly use surfaces.
