Interior Wood Paint PBI900 : Lacquer Paint For Woodwork

Interior Wood Paint PBI900 is suitable for decorating and protecting all types of interior wood in all types of rooms (bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms...). It can be applied for both new construction and renovation work. It is ideal for renovating panelling, furniture or wooden objects. Its satin finish will give your room a luminous aspect while masking any slight defects that the wood may have. With easy application in layers, our coloured wood paints allow you to easily add colour to your interior. Leachable, it makes it easy to maintain your interior woods. This lacquer paint for woodwork offers the appearance of a traditional lacquer with a smooth, relief-free finish (microporous satin lacquer paint stretched out).

Formulated in aqueous phase, odourless and with an A+ classification for indoor air quality, this paint for interior woodwork is safe for the environment and the applicator. Microporous, it eliminates the risks of blistering and flaking.

 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF LACQUER PAINT FOR WOODWORK

PREPARE THE WOOD

• Apply to clean, dry, healthy, dust-free and perfectly adherent wood.

• On raw wood: grit the surface with 100 or 120 grit sandpaper. Dust carefully

• On tannic or exotic woods (oak, chestnut...) or exotic woods (merbau, iroko, ipe, teak...): apply a suitable undercoat such as theAnti-Tanins Primer PAT400.), for other woods (new, porous), it is possible to apply an undercoat by diluting Interior Wood Paint PBI900 with 20% water.

• On painted, varnished or stained wood, on melamine or laminate, on medium: Sand the surface with 100 or 120 grit sandpaper. Dust carefully. Degrease carefully with a cloth soaked in methylated spirits or acetone.

• On oiled or waxed wood: sand with grit 40, 60 then 100, remove dust, then degrease carefully with Wood Cleaner N100 or with a cloth soaked in alcohol or acetone.

APPLICATION OF INTERIOR WOOD PAINT PBI900

• Mix the product well before use for a good dispersion of the pigments.

• Apply one coat crosswise using a brush or a lacquer roller. Leave to dry for 2 to 8 hours and then apply a second coat in the same way. Do not exceed 48 hours between coats.

DRYING

• Fast hardening after 24 hours drying. Take a few precautions during the first days (shocks, stains, cleaning...).

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

• Avoid applying lacquer paint and woodwork on wood with a moisture content of more than 17% or a pH of more than 11.

• Do not apply the paint when the temperature is below 10°C (50F) or above 35°C (95F).
