How to Apply Light Oak Varnish VCC500

Preparing the wood

• Surface must be clean, dry, and free of previous finishes
• Sand to bare wood on waxed, oiled, or varnished surfaces
• Thoroughly dust off
• For tannin-rich woods (oak, chestnut): apply Anti-Tannin Primer PAT400
• For other woods: apply Bouche-Pores Primer BP400

Application

• Shake well before use
• Apply between 12°C and 30°C, relative humidity 40–60%
• Apply in the direction of the wood grain
• Use 3 even and generous coats
• Tools: brush, spalter, or short-nap roller

Drying

• Minimum 2h between coats
• Light sanding recommended after the 1st coat (grit 120–240)
• Do not exceed 24h between coats
• Dust off before each application

Precautions After Application

• Do not cover the surface during the first few days
• Avoid placing heavy objects
• Do not use aggressive cleaning products
