Grey Saturator SGA600 - Terraces & Wooden Siding

Easy to apply, Grey Saturator SGA600 reproduces the grey of naturally aged wood or makes up for differences in colour between protected and weathered parts (cladding protected by roof overhang, EAST and WEST facing, special design, partially sheltered terraces, etc.). Maintenance-free, it allows a smooth transition to naturally greyed wood. This aged grey wood saturator is ideal for all types of softwood, hardwood or exotic woods, on outdoor surfaces such as terraces, cladding, gates, pergolas, shutters and fences.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF GREY SATURATOR

PREPARING THE DECK OR OTHER WOODEN SURFACE FOR THE SATURATOR

• The wood must be clean, dry, dust-free and without traces of old finishes.
• On old finishes, strip, clean, or sand down to the raw wood so that the grey wood saturator can impregnate the surface. Dust carefully.
• On aged and/or naturally greyed wood, there is no need to degrease. Simply remove dust with a high-pressure water jet from a reasonable distance.

APPLICATION OF THE GREY SATURATOR'.

• Product ready to use, shake the aged grey saturator well before application for a good dispersion of the pigments. No dilution is necessary.
• Make sure that the ambient temperature is between +10°C (50 F) and +35°C (95F). Do not apply in rainy weather or in full sunlight. Do not apply on wood with mould.
• Apply the saturator in the direction of the wood fibres using a brush, spalter or roller (short bristles), in 1 regular and fine coat. If the wood is very absorbent, it will be necessary to apply a 2nd coat after a minimum of 2 hours of drying, avoid exceeding 24 hours of drying.

DRYING

• Allow to dry. Wait at least 24 hours before putting back into circulation.
• Take a few precautions during the first few days.

 PRECAUTIONS AFTER APPLICATION OF GREY WOOD SATURATOR

It is important to take a few precautions during the first few days:

• Do not cover the terrace or the wooden support.
• Do not move heavy garden furniture on newly protected terraces.

TIPS

MAINTAINING AND RENOVATING YOUR WOODEN DECK OR SUPPORT

MAINTAINING GREY TINTED WOOD

• Simply apply a new coat of saturator to the previously cleaned wood.
• Slight ginning can be carried out if necessary.

RENOVATING ITS GREY TINTED WOOD (OPTIONAL)

After cleaning the wood (using the Wood Cleaner N100), apply the Grey Saturator SGA600 in one coat on the most stressed substrates.
